TOOL: RULER, CARPENTER'S/BUILDER'S
Graduated and jointed, flat, straight wooden rule used by carpenters and builders. It is 36 inches in length and made up of four 9 inch sections. The brass hinge in the middle allows the rule to be folded in half lengthwise and the other two joints allow the two end sections to be folded back onto the middle section.
