Rectangular hard cover book with cloth tape binding. Consists of fourteen pages with text and illustrations on both faces showing various animals from around the world.
The front cover is khaki with a cream border and has an image of an elephant and text in red and black.
The reverse has an image of a draught horse in a field and the artists signature bottom right

Historical information

Given to Ursula 'Ula' Skeet by Auntie Agnes as a birthday present in 1927. Lillian Ursula Skeet was born in 1919 to Alfred Tunbridge and Lillian Ursula Skeet. She grew up in Forrestdale on the family farm with her parents and five other siblings. Lilian, or Ursual as she was known as, was musical, playing the piano and worked at the Forrestdale Post Office which was located in the front room of their family home. She attended the Forrestdale State School. Ursula did have an aunt named Agne Bridges-Todd (nee Dumsday)
In the 1950s Ursula had two short stories published in the Western Mail. She also married and moved away from the district
