The trophy is titled:
The Helfers Medal Shield
This is a perpetual trophy bearing the names of the winners of the event.
There are presently two shields, the second being prepared when the first became full.
The original shield (1981 to 2009), attachment a, features a golfer in the middle of a circular silver wreath crest at the centre-top of the list of winners. This shield is stored in the Trophy Cabinet.
The second shield (2010 - ), attachment b, features a golf club and ball guarded each side by a silver coloured branch forming a crest at the centre-top of the list of winners.
