THE HELFERS MEDAL SHIELD TROPHY

The trophy is titled:

The Helfers Medal Shield

This is a perpetual trophy bearing the names of the winners of the event.

There are presently two shields, the second being prepared when the first became full.

Both shields are made of a jarrah wood base in the shape of a shield.

The original shield (1981 to 2009), attachment a, features a golfer in the middle of a circular silver wreath crest at the centre-top of the list of winners which are written directly onto the shield in gold paint.This shield is stored in the Trophy Cabinet.

The second shield (2010 - ), attachment b, features a golf club and ball guarded each side by a silver coloured branch forming a crest at the centre-top of the list of winners. The trophy title and winners' names appear on plaques attached to the shield. This shield is on display in the Trophy Cabinet
