IN THE FIRING LINE - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

"In the Firing Line" newspaper article addressed the forthcoming election of Melville City's mayor and the three candidates' various platforms.

Of relevance to Melville Glades was the mention by candidate Katy Mair to "... push to keep ... Melville Glades Golf Club in Leeming in their current location".

The election resulted in George Gear being appointed mayor superceding Russell Aubrey.

The article appeared in the Melvlle Gazette on 5 September, 2019.
