HELFERS, Frederick (Fred)

Fred Helfers commenced as the initial Secretary Manager for the club in December 1968 before retiring in October 1978. Subsequently he spent many years as a playing member as well as contributing to the club's management as a member rather than an employee.
His position was initially titled Secretary Manager, and subsequently Managing Secretary.
