Overview

A young man standing on the beach. The 'singlet' top of his dark bathers is bordered with three stripes and forms a 'skirt' over the trunks which end midway down his thighs. Two women stand either side of him with linked arms. The woman on the left is wearing a light skirt and overblouse with dark tie and the fly net on her light sunhat is thrown back. The woman on the right is wearing a floral pinafore dress over a light blouse and may have a fly net tucked into her hat. Both are wearing light stockings and shoes.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
