Overview

A miniature commemorative baseball presented by the Mexican Baseball Team, who were competing at the 1993 Intercontinental Baseball Championships in Rimini Italy. The ball is made of leather with red stitching. The name of the Mexican Professional Baseball Hall of Fame is printed on it and it is also stamped with Rimini Italia.

Historical information

The 11th baseball Intercontinental Cup was held in Rimini Italy in 1993 from 23rd June to 4th July. Ten countries competed: Cuba, Japan, USA, Nicaragua, South Korea, Australia, Mexico, Italy, Spain and France. The Cuban national team won the competition, their 6th straight Gold Medal. Australia finished in 6th place, Mexico in 7th place.
