Visitors - Yanchep National Park
c. 1934Autographed black and white photo
The Duke of Gloucester made a private visit to Yanchep Park whilst on his Australian tour in 1934. He stayed overnight at The Lodge on 5 October. Five years later, The Lodge was renamed Gloucester Lodge, which, in turn, promoted publicity for the guest house when visitors came to see 'where the Duke had slept'.
