In 1937 the Womens branch of the Australian Labor Party in Western Australia held a conference at Yanchep National Park. They were commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the first State Labor Women's Conference in 1912 and the tenth anniversary of the W.A. Labor Women's Central Executive.
