An ink spot marks the position of the Freemasons Hotel.
The new railway station and goods sheds can be seen.
The Templar Hall has not yet been extended so taken prior to 1924.

Contextual Information

Companion photo to another held in the Shire of Toodyay collection, 2001.1543 which appears to have been taken at the same time from the same location at the summit of Mt. Anderson but with the view in a slightly different direction. That photo shows the old Railway Bridge over the Avon River which was built in 1909, therefore also dating this image from after this time.
