Overview

Mabel Schorer her daughter Deidre and her mother Kate Mears on the lawn in front of the house. Mabel and Kate with hats and gloves, Deidre with spotted frock, white shoes and socks. The house on limestone foundations is brick and white stucco with large battened gable over front porch. A flat shade is over the leadlight window.

Mabel Kate Schorer (1899-1981) daughter of Benjamin Frederick Mears (1874-1949) and Alice Kate Deacon (1879-1971) was born Cardiff, Wales.

Lived Lot 8 Wright Avenue, 4 Brown Street, Claremont and 57 Beatrice Road Dalkeith. Worked as a solicitor's secretary.

Married Herbert Charles Schorer in Narrogin in 1925. They had one daughter Deidre Janette Schorer (1933-1977).
