Built c.1901. Owned by the Sheppard family in 1920. The house was called 'Ivanhoe'. The foundations of the house had sunk and it had been inhabited by squatters, so the decision was made to demolish the house rather than renovate it. Council put a demolition order on house in 1973. House at 81-83 Bay View Terrace previously demolished.
