First World War Black and White Photograph of a Group of Dismounted Light Horsemen

1916 - 1918
Overview

A small black and white photograph of a group of Light Horsemen standing to attention in line with their horses in the desert. They are facing two mounted soldiers. Well behind the group there appears to be many more soldiers and horses in formation. In the front right-hand corner of the image there appears to be a helmet with plume sitting on a log. The photograph has a small border and is in good condition with just a few small stains on the back. There is a small number 1 written on the reverse top corner.
