PHOTOGRAPH: JUNCTION OF ROKEBY ROAD AND HAY STREET
1913Image: Junction of Rokeby Road and Hay Street facing south up Rokeby Road. A woman and child can be seen walking along the road, travelling away from the camera. Two trams are passing the woman and "Subiaco" can be seen on the tram on the left. Some detail can be seen of the shops on the right of the image. Advertising on the side wall reads:"Date and Son, Grocers. Try Germea for breakfast". "Da and & Son" can also be seen on the front of the shop, with "Wines Spirit Merchants" at the side. There is a tailor's shop next door. Some distance up the hill can be seen a man on a bicycle.
Possible cadman - investigate!
