Jean Williams, daughter of Robert and Daisy Wiliams, was born in 1922 and lived in Claremont all her life. Married John Albert Mulder in 1944. Graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Arts in 1988, aged 65 yrs, having studied part time for nine years. Became a councillor for the Town of Claremont in 1995 representing East Ward.
