Historical information

Dr Henry Mitchell Benson married Stella Theadora Simmonds. Immigrated from Sheffied in c1907-8. Arrived at Albany. He was a doctor who practised at Kelmscott and was later Assitant Medical Officer at what was once known as the Claremont Hospital for the Insane. Father of Theda, Violet, Joyce, Irene and John. The family lived ont he grounds of the hospital.
