Donation Box
A red metal box with a slot on the top is a coin slot. The plate on the bottom can be removed via two screws so that the money can be removed.
In early WA history, many medical services and hospitals were funded by the local community. This fundraising box was set up to hold donations from patients and other locals. Needless to say, fundraising for community projects and facilities is still a feature of rural towns such as Kojonup.
