Overview

The colour photograph features a narrow red brick house with an end gable facing the street, with a lane running down the side from the street. There is a tall fancy brick chimney with a chimney pot. There is a red painted iron (with badly rusted iron sheets) bull-nosed verandah with turned wooden posts and decorative timber corner pieces. The window facing on to the verandah has an elaborate white cement bottom section. The picket fence is very weathered as is the house. A lamp post is on the street verge in front of the house.
