PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSE AT 96 BARKER ROAD, SUBIACO
The colour photo taken from a slide shows a large red brick house with two chimneys. Green corrugated iron roof and bull-nosed return verandah with white wooden posts. There is one gable with 'Ercildoune' in relief letters above the verandah roof. The corner has a crenellated corner turret with three garlands decorating the lower part. Three rail wooden fence at front with white sign 'Ercildoune Lodge'. The house was used as a C-Class hospital, which closed in 1988. Museum holds original Kodachrome colour slide and colour copy photo.
