PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSE AT 14 AUSTIN STREET, SHENTON PARK
The colour photograph shows a large brick house with a corrugated iron roof, one chimney, and a low parapet projecting from the verandah roof. The verandah has wooden fretwork, turned posts and lacy wrought iron balustrades. There are four outdoor blinds that are rolled up under the verandahs fretwork. A white picket fence surrounds the property and has two iron entry gates. The garden features a large shrub which partially obscures the house on right and flowers (possibly roses) in front of the verandah and behind the fence poking through the gaps in the pickets.
REVERSE: Handwritten in black ink '14 Austin St., Shenton Park'.
