The colour photo taken from a slide shows a red brick building with projecting front room with two narrow windows topped with a stucco gable which has the centre ventilator circled with red bricks. Another gable over the front verandah has decoration of brickwork in the form of tall arches. Wooden turned posts and brackets with a row of wooden 'spindles' support the single-pitch iron verandah roof. A palm tree obscures the view on the right hand side.
