WWII US dexterity puzzle - Give It Wings
c. 1940Handheld dexterity puzzle with grey metal sides, glass top and a faded cardboard background featuring an airfield with buildings and runways. At the centre is the body of a plane decorated with red, white and blue in a chequerboard pattern. There are two separate white wings with a blue star enclosed in a ciircle at the wing tips
The aim of the game is to juggle the wings into position on the plane.
The reverse of the game is bright yellow cardboard.
As with most of these vintage dexterity puzzles, they have become harder to complete due to the warping of the cardboard base.
One of a series of handheld dexterity puzzles in the collection produced in the United States during WWII.
