PENNANT - ROTARY PLANTE SEMENTES DO AMOR

Overview

A rectangular pennant, white in colour with images on the front. Wooden dowel threaded through the top of the pennant, with gold cone shaped caps on either end, a gold coloured cord connecting either end.
White background with a blue, yellow and red repeating Y-shaped pattern on the edges, the centre of the pennant has black text curving with the words [Plante Sementes do Amor] above a Rotary international symbol. The Rotary symbol sits above a plant like image of green, blue, red, orange and yellow bended triangles with two oval shapes, a yellow shape on the orange triangle, a light blue shape on the dark blue triangle.
Black text underneath the symbol reads [Bhichai Rattakul/ Rotary International President/ 2002-03]
Gold coloured fringing runs along the base of the pennant.
The back is clear with a white tag that is folded and sewn into white stitching at the base. Tag has a upright heraldic lion on the L) side. Black text reads [Flag Crafters/ Since 1981/ (800) 833-FLAG]

Historical information

It was tradition for when Rotary Clubs met they exchanged their club banners. This banner was exchanged from the Rotary Club of Campina Grande, Brazil. (Rotary District 4500) They were displayed by the Armadale Neerigen Rotary Club.
