On the back "NOTES / This document should be kept in a safe place as / no further copy will be issued. / In order to guard against impersonation in the / event of loss, the holder of this Certificate of / Discharge must append his signature in the place / shown on the face hereof, at the time of issue. / Any person finding this Certificate is requested / to return it in an unstamped envelope to the Mil- / itary Headquarters in the nearest Capital City."
