Overview

A metal comb which has four wide prongs which have smaller teeth on each edge of the prong. It has a metal handle which a hand can slide into.

Historical information

A metal comb which would be used to comb the tail or the mane of the horse where the hair in coarser and would become more tangled. It could also be used to comb the horse's coat however not over bony or sensitive areas as the comb teeth are quite rough.
