PLATE: BRISTILE, HILITE 33 RESTAURANT

Overview

White dinner plate made by Bristile with wildflower decal decoration around edge. There are 8 decals two each of leschenaultia, kangaroo paws, wattle and purple pea flower, the purple pea and the leschenaultia are signed M . Schumi. The plate has a heavy rim stepping down to a curve before flattening to the centre. On the reverse there is an outer rim with a groove then two curved rings running down to the glazed foot. The are three firing marks on the base.
Base: Printed on the base is 'MADE IN AUSTRALIA / BRISTILE / SUPER VITRIFIED HOTEL CHINA / 4/79'. Below this is 'SPECIALLY DESIGNED / BY M. SCHUMI / FOR / HILITE 33 / PERTH'. Hilite 33 was the revolving restaurant at the top of 44 St George's Terrace Perth.
