THE POETRY OF THINGS
An A4 size small booklet. The front cover is white with printed black text, with the City of Armadale and their logo in the lower righthand corner. The title of the book is inside two large square brackets. Beneath the title are the signatures of the poets who contributed to the display by composing poems about museum artifacts. The book has 37 pages, with pictures of the artifacts followed by descriptions and general information about each item. On the following page is a poem about each item with its author.
the book is a catalogue produced by History House Museum as part of the Poetry of Things exhibition that was on display at History House from 28 November 2019 to 23 March 2020. The catalogue induced the poems and objects featured in the exhibition. During the opening of the exhibition on 28 November the community poets involved in the project each signed the front cover of the catalogue as a memento of the event to be kept by History House.

This catalogue was released by History House Museum, and the City of Armadale in 28 November 2019, to coincide with the opening of a new display called 'The Poetry of Things'. The exhibition includes items from the museum with accompanying poetry written by local residents. It was a moment of the exhibition and featured the signatures of all of the community poets who were involved in the project.
