Eastern Goldfields Historical Society

Four men and two women stand with four whippets on leads.
Whippets, and whippet racing, were commonplace on the Goldfields for nearly half-a-century. Local race meets usually took place on a Friday night, and whippet racing was often a feature of holiday sports meetings.
