JAGER, Matt Jacob

1988-
One of Matt's most significant achievements was winning both the Mens and Boys MGGC Champion of Champions events in 2008.
 
Matt's other achievements whilst a member include:
  • 2004 WA team member in Australian Junior Interstate Teams Challenge
  • 2004 and 2005 Selection in State Schools Golf Squad that played in the national championships
  • 2005 Selected in the Australia School Boy team
 
The 2005 WA State team won the Australian event and went on to play in the Trans-Tasman Challenge in NZ.
 
  • 2006 Ranked as the number one junior golfer in Australia, won the WA State Junior Championship, was named the WA Junior Golfer of the Year and played the first two rounds of the Australian Open.
  • 2007 Represented WA in the World Junior Championships, Japan
  • 2007 Selection in State side
 
Apart from his MGGC achievements Matt also won the:
2009 and 2010 New Zealand Amateur Championship
2010 Australian Amateur Stroke Play and Match Play Championships
