MGGC Boy's Champion of Champions

The MGGC Boy's Champion of Champions is a Golf WA sanctioned event conducted at MGGC similar to the MGGC Men's Champion of Champions event.

 

The eligible competitors are the boys championship winners from all other clubs in WA. It is an 18 hole stroke event run in conjunction with the Junior Boys Classic.

 

There have been a number of years where no result was recorded and there have been no results after 2014.

 

Some doubt exists on the 1997 and 1998 winners. The Annual Report lists Neil Hartzer as the winner but Newsletter March 1997 reports that Greg Bell was the winner. Also, the 1998 Annual Report lists Daniel Hartzer as the winner - same person as Neil in 1997? For now, Greg Bell's name has been entered for 1997 and Daniel Hartzer for 1998 unless further information is obtained.

 

Newsletter March 1980 includes a report from the Vice Captain and junior coordinator, Max Hannah who states that 'The Melville Glades Junior Classic this year incorporated the inaugural W.A. Junior Champion of Champions'.
