Overview
A small beige card with the British and Australian flags at the top and blue italic printing. The card is an abstinence pledge card signed by SH Love 2700 48th Batt A.I.F. on June 30th 1917 France. Snowden Henry Love was the father of Snowden Edward Love who went down with the sinking of HMAS Sydney in World War Two.
Historical information
S.H. Love was a sailor on HMAS Sydney which was sunk on the 19th November 1941, during the Second World War.
