Second World War 1939-1945 Star and Pacific Star Ribbons Pin
c. 1980A small rectangular metal bar with a pin on the reverse. The bar is covered on the obverse with a multi-coloured ribbon.
This pin recognises military service in the Pacific between 8 December 1941 and 2 September 1945 and was awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. The colour green symbolises the jungles of the Pacific Islands and the colour yellow symbolises the beaches. Each arm of the services is also represented; Navy (dark blue), Army (red) and Airforce (light blue).

MOHR had lived in Denmark, Western Australia, before enlisting and returned there after the war.
