c. 1980A small rectangular metal bar with a pin on the reverse. The bar is covered on the obverse with a multi-coloured ribbon.
This pin recognises military service in the Pacific between 8 December 1941 and 2 September 1945 and was awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. The colour green symbolises the jungles of the Pacific Islands and the colour yellow symbolises the beaches. Each arm of the services is also represented; Navy (dark blue), Army (red) and Airforce (light blue).

A Sapper in the Australian Mechanical Equipment Company he spent 1495 days on Active Service in Australia and 625 days on Overseas Service from September 1943 – August 1944 and 10 March – 6 December 1945 before being discharged at Karrakatta in Western Australia on 24 January 1946. MOHR had lived in Denmark, Western Australia, before enlisting and returned there after the war.
