Two wooden boards joined together In the board are 100 nails places in two sets of five across the board for the use of counting - pointed end of nail exposed. Also has drawings and written information with volume, time and weight measurements (Imperial). Also includes the measurement of a cricket wicket- with drawing

The linear measurements are British Imperial measurements. It is thought that the board was used prior to 1912. This counting board was found in the loft of the Barracks and would probably have been used in the days that school was held in the Barracks.
