CROCHET, FILET, CONTAINER
c. 1930 - 1939A most unusual pair of hand crocheted heart shaped dilly bags, created by donor’s grandmother in early 20th century in South Australia. One slightly smaller than the other.
The centre section is double, creating a container, but of a very open crochet design. A fan-shaped scalloped edge connects the two sections. Two crochet strips connects the two sides at the top.
Research internet site suggested a sweetheart sachet.
