Historical information

A used fruit box label from Illawarra Orchard.
Illawarra Orchard in Karragullen was constructed in 1893. The orchard is integral to the development of agriculture in the wider Armadale district, being the place where Thomas Price experimented with various fruit species to determine their suitability for the area.
