Ensign Box Camera

Overview
A rectangular box camera with a leather strap for a handle on the top. The view finder is on the top of the box to the left of the strap and there is also a side viewfinder on the right side of the box as well as the winder and sliding clips to open the camera to remove the plate.

Inscriptions and markings
On a black circular label on the front of the camera around the outer edge of the label in white lettering is "MADE BY HOUGHTONS Ltd. LONDON", in the centre of the circle is a flag and inside the flag is "ENSIGN", above the flag is "BRITISH" and below is "MADE".
