Overview

An oblong slim black heavy box with a leather handle on top. There are three view finders on the top of the camera, the square one on the left front and the circular on on the left back allows the user to focus the picture. Also windows on top and in front. One at the back On the left hand side is a metal sliding button and on the right hand is a winder. Lock on side to lift off and load film. Handle on side to wind film for moving picture and lever to rewind. On the bottom is a screw hole for attaching to a tripod.

Inscriptions and markings

Embossed on the leather handle is "CINE KODAK".
Underneath the handle on a black circular metal plate in brass coloured lettering around the edge is "EASTMAN KODAK CO MADE IN U.S.A. Footage AT ROCHESTER.N.Y. BY". In the centre of the circle starting from the top in four lines of brass coloured lettering is "K.A.f 3.5", "Cine", "Model B", "Kodak".

On a black plate next to the lens on the front with three lines of embossed brass coloured lettering is "Portrait Attachment", "for Close Ups", "From 2 to 5 feet".

On a black plate underneath the diopter lever in sixteen lines of brass coloured lettering is "For Close Ups in Shade", "For Subjects and Scenes", "on Dark Days or in", "Deep Shade", "For All Close Ups in", "Direct Sunlight.", "For Average Subjects and", "Scenes on Cloudy Days", " For Average", "Subjects and Scenes", "in Direct Sunlight", "Use Only for", ":Distant Subjects in", "Direct Sunlight", "For Use in Tropics", "See Manual".

On the metal winder on the right hand side is etched "32191".

On the left hand side is a metal sliding button which has in front of it in brass coloured lettering "OPEN", behind is "LOCK".
