Mr. Twine sits on a chair with one hand on lap and the other resting on a table. The table has a vase of flowers and a window can be seen in the background. Mr. Twine is wearing a suit and a bow tie.
The picture frame is wooden, black with gold filigree and a gold insert.
The picture is mounted upon a brown cardboard mount with a scalloped design and oval central gold mount underlay.
This picture is one of a pair. The second framed photograph is of Mrs Mary Ann Twine (Shire of Toodyay accession number 2001-668)
