Faded b&w photo of the four Twine sisters.
Taken at the front of the house (Newgain).
Three sisters are standing, and one is seated on an ornate cane chair, nursing two kittens.
All are wearing long white dresses with long white sleeves and high necks.

Historical information

The four women were daughters of Henry James Twine and Sarah Hannah nee Mead. A fifth daughter, Laura, died at fourteen years in 1895
