LARGE SIZE BUTTON BADGE 'LEST WE FORGET'
Great War patriotic and commemorative fundraising badge. A round lapel button badge in double metal with a steel stick pin. Coloured gold, white, green, blue and red. A white background with seven pointed, gold embossed star superimposed. Inside the star is a peace wreath of green laurel leaves surrounding a map of Australia outlined in a delicate gold line. Inside the map, also in black lettering, is: 'LEST WE FORGET'. At the bottom is a red scroll containing: 'April 25th 1915' in white lettering.
Caption: Lists the names of the different campaigns in which Australian forces participated in WW1. In small black lettering, the name of each campaign has been placed within each point of the star. 'France, Egypt, Mesopotamia, North Sea, New Guinea, Palestine, Gallipoli'.
