On the front of the photograph handwritten in red ink which has faded is "REMAINS OF HOLLANDS WAGE MAY 1970".
On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Remains of the Wagon used by John Holland on expedition to Coolgardie from Broomehill1893. Photo was taken on Ian Robertsons property (ex Noonan) North Badgebup May 1970".
