Inscriptions and markings

Above the foot in black lettering is "SANDS'", underneath is "FOOTEASE", across the foot is "TIRED & TENDER", underneath is "PERSPIRING FEET." Below this is a white label with three rows of black lettering "GERALD MARTREY, M.P.S.", "DISPENSING CHEMIST & OPTICIAN", " TEL 44295 604 Hay St., PERTH". On the right side vertically is "REGISTERED".

On the left hand side of the tin in five rows of black lettering is "SANDS' FOOTEASE contains no harmful", "ingredients, and will be found most", "useful at all seasons of the years. One", "application will immediately arrest the", "odour arising from perspiring feet."

On the right hand side of the tin in five rows of black lettering is "DIRECTIONS.", "A little SADS' FOOTEASE dusted into", "the stockings and shoes each moring", "will give immediate relief to those troubled", "with sore, blistered , and perspiring feet.".
