Zam-Buk Ointment
c. 1960A small circular tin with a green and white lid and white bottom. The lid has a small green rim, white background and a two green half ovals shapes, the lettering is red and white.
This medication has been trademarked. It was widely used in earlier times as an all round antiseptic and healing ointment, particularly with Rugby players worldwide. In 1908 a report published in the British Medical Journal estimated the cost of ingredients for a standard 0.6 ounces (17g) box was 1 farthing, yet the retail price of the drug was 1s.

On the top half green oval shape in white lettering is "MEDICATED OINTMENT", underneath on the white background and red lettering is "Zam-Buk", underneath on the bottom half green oval shape is "AIDS GENTLE HEALING", underneath on the white background in green lettering is "28g".
