BEAR BADGE - ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Overview

The front has a golden outlining with yellow on the inside.
From the top down it has golden eyes, nose and mouth.
With a pure golden bow-tie that extend to each of it's shoulders.
In the centre of it's chest is the rotary symbol, a golden cog with a blue outlining that reads [ROTARY / INTERNATIONAL].
It has 4 golden paws two for it's hands and two for it's feet.

The back is also golden with a makers mark below the point where the clasp grips onto the badge.

Historical information

Collected by a member of Armadale Neerigen Brook Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club of Neerigen which later changed its name to the Rotary Club of Armadale-Neerigen was founded in 1982. The club was involved in numerous fundrasing events and sponsored several exchange students as well as overseas programs. Members would regularly attend Rotatory events locally, nationally and internationally as well as visit other Rotary clubs around the world. The club folded due to a lack of members in 2012.
