BADGE - EAGLE ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Overview

The front has a golden eagle with it's wings spread on a golden branch. The eagle is facing left.
Below the branch is the rotary symbol a golden wheel with a blue outline that reads [ROTARY / INTERNATIONAL].

The back is also golden with the outline of the eagle, branch and wheel. On the back of the eagle is a point where a clasp is placed.

Historical information

Collected by a member of Armadale Neerigen Brook Rotary Club, possibly during a trip to the United States.
The Rotary Club of Neerigen which later changed its name to the Rotary Club of Armadale-Neerigen was founded in 1982. The club was involved in numerous fundrasing events and sponsored several exchange students as well as overseas programs. Members would regularly attend Rotatory events locally, nationally and internationally as well as visit other Rotary clubs around the world. The club folded due to a lack of members in 2012.
