Overview

Colour photograph giving an overview of Nicholson Road and the shops and houses opposite the Shenton Park Hotel. 'Craft House', 'Peter's Ice Cream' and 'Anthony Amsterdam' are the largest signs displayed over the shops. The red-roofed house to the right of the Colour Copy Shop bears a striking resemblance to the house to the right of the vacant land in the old postcard, 'Greetings from Subiaco', c.1910.
Both images are similar and have been taken at slightly different angles.
