Overview

The woman is formally dressed in a blouse, short jacket and long skirt, with a fancy hat on her head. The man is dressed in a jacket and knicker blockers. The crowd are similarly dressed.

This photograph is of the opening day of the Katanning Golf Club. The golf course is situated on the western side of Katanning. The lady teeing off is Mrs F.H. Piesse and the man beside her Dr F.M. House.
