c. 1911Claremont's second Police Station and quarters. Cart shed and fence dividing yard from the second Reserve which has a simple open picket fence, with 'gap' on Victoria Avenue boundary. In the foreground is the decorative picket fence, gate and heads of pampas grass of 61 Victoria Avenue. Trees, river and Peppermint Grove foreshore in background.
Second station for district at 66 Victoria Avenue. Claremont. Photograph was taken from N Burnell's home on corner of Bay Road and Victoria Avenue. The Claremont Police Station was converted into the Claremont Museum in 1975.
