KETTLE - T & C CLARK & CO LTD 5 QUARTS
c. 1890 - 1910Round body, tapering up to a slighty large ridge near the top, then steeply sloping to the aperture. There is a curved handle riveted to this slope and a small disc fixed near the rim. A curved spout is fitted about mid point on the body, in line with the handle.
There is text moulded into the base with the makers Trade Mark of the Star of David with the letter ''C'' in the centre.
This cooking pot was manufactured by T & C Clark & Company in England and was use by the Gilmore family up to the 1950s.
T & C Clark & Company was started the cast iron foundry 1795 by Thomas and Charles Clark and grew into one of the largest iron foundries in the Wolverhampton area producing a large range of domestic, agricultural and industrial equipment.
