Pennant flag in commemoration of Royal Visit
1954A green pennant flag with an oval paper picture of Queen Elizabeth the Second glued to the pennant and a scroll with a crown all in crimson and white above the picture. The pennant has a narrow border in crimson and white, the tip of the pennant is crimson and is glued to a wooden rod.
These pennants were issued to school children for the visit of Queen Elizabeth the Second and Prince Phillip to Australia in 1954.

On the pennant in crimson and white lettering is 'OUR GLORIOUS QUEEN ER Royal Visit Souvenir 1954'
On the pennant glued to the wooden rod in white lettering is 'MORTON PENNANTS'
These pennants are unique to the collection and are an indication of the importance of the Royal family in Australia at that time.
